This charming set of six hand-thrown ceramic egg cups (coquetiers) originates from the Le Lion studio in Villeneuve-de-Berg, located in the Ardèche region of Southern France. Each piece is crafted from a rich, dark stoneware and finished in a creamy, speckled off-white glaze with warm, earthy brown accents along the rims and foot. The visible throwing ridges and subtle glaze variations highlight their artisanal, one-of-a-kind nature. Each cup is hand-signed on the unglazed base, "le lion Villeneuve de Berg."
