This exquisite, large-scale 5.5” vintage snuff bottle is a masterwork of traditional Chinese inside-painting (neihua). Hand-painted with incredible precision by the recognized artist Wu Guochen, the bottle depicts the "Twelve Golden Hairpins of Jinling," a famous literary theme from the classic novel Dream of the Red Chamber.

The scene features a grouping of elegant women in a lush garden setting, rendered in vibrant mineral pigments. The bottle itself is crafted from thick, clear glass with traditional relief-carved "mask" handles on the sides and is topped with a polished brown dome-shaped stopper.
